Making the Connections - Our Shared Priority?
04/07/2007

IRSO 2007 National Conference and AGM
Wednesday 4 July - Friday 6 July
Marsham Court Hotel, Bournemouth, Dorset
AGM - 12noon Wednesday 4 July
Conference commences at 1430
"How can I tackle congestion, enhance safety and improve access and the environment...?" "How do I fit it all together?"

Making the Connections - Our Shared Priority aims to bring the pieces of the transport jigsaw together so that you, as a transport professional, can understand how to deliver the shared priority for transport. With presentations by leading experts on safety, congestion, accessibility and the environment, and practical workshops to help make the links, this conference is essential for road safety officers, travel, transport and accessibility planners, indeed anyone with an interest in improving transport in their local area.

The conference will give delegates a clear understanding of the connections across the shared priority area and how these can be strengthened and exploited back at the workplace. It will also give delegates the chance to meet with, learn from and share experiences with other colleagues, putting the world to rights as they go!

The conference is hosted by IRSO, the professional body for road safety practitioners - the only professional body in the world dedicated to promoting the efficiency, specialised knowledge and career progression of road safety officers. Further information about IRSO, and the conference, can be found at www.irso.org.uk

For booking details, please contact Su Negus at Medway Council on email
